DeVry

After a $2 million brand development and identity program, DeVry’s 65 campuses started to wander from their standards for print ads and collateral. After months of consultation, their brand identity was only losing focus.

RT Solution: We developed a Web portal with ads and marketing materials that not only controls the brand, but allows each campus the benefit of customization. This service also allows DeVry the ability to receive PDFs and print-on-demand orders with fast turnaround.

The Growmark Systems

Growmark was looking for an innovative way to increase response rates generated from their agriculturally based direct mail initiatives.

RT Solution: Feeling that customization and one-to-one marketing would generate interest, Growmark looked to partner with RT. The self-mailer we produced featured an aerial view of the recipient’s county, as well as a business reply card. The recipients were offered a free poster of their county if they returned the business reply card. This marketing campaign resulted in a 9% response rate.

GBC

Like many manufacturers faced with constantly changing technology, GBC needed to keep inventory both current and stocked to meet the needs of a large national sales force consisting of three divisions and a dealer network.

RT Solution: With GBC’s help, we developed ZAP! online ordering. This system allows sales reps to request current literature that is fulfilled in days with full-cost accounting and inventory controls. Print is now targeted, run lengths have been cut, inventory costs have been minimized and waste has been reduced.


Leopardo Companies, Inc.

Established construction firm discovers that “one-size-fits-all” brochures no longer address customers’ need for more personalized service. Leopardo wanted to focus its marketing strategy on its four market segments rather than sending out mass generalized messages.

RT Solution: RT Associates comes to the rescue with customized work — short run, full-color, affordable brochures that meet the print buyer’s high standards for quality.

Good Shepherd Hospital Health & Fitness Center

Good Shepherd Hospital Health & Fitness Center mails out tens of thousands of postcards promoting its facilities. These mailings produce modest response rates and very low conversion rates. The center lacked insight into who was responding to its mailings and why respondents initially picked up the phone.

RT Solution: We implemented ResponseTrack™, an online information-gathering tool, through which we added a Personalized URL (PURL) to every postcard. Created specifically for the individual recipients of the mailing, this innovative PURL directed recipients to a personalized Web page designed by RT. ResponseTrack™ was able to collect unique information about each prospective member that was previously unavailable to Good Shepherd. Armed with this data, the facility increased its conversion rates by generating highly targeted messages that speak personally to potential customers.

Allendale Association

In the past few years, Allendale Association has mailed upwards of 6,000 invitations for its annual Gala and Auction Event. Each time, the Association’s staff is strained because the only way attendees can register for the event is to fill out reply cards and include their checks in self-addressed envelopes. Allendale also lacked insight into who was responding and what motivated them to either give a donation or register for the event.

RT Solution: To help Allendale Association streamline the registration process, RT implemented ResponseTrack™, an online registration and information-gathering tool. To each of Allendale’s invitations, RT added a Personalized URL (PURL) created specifically for the individual recipients of the mailing. The ResponseTrack™ solution, which administrates the PURL, directed recipients to a Web page designed distinctly for them. Prospective donors were then able to verify their contact information and (via a survey administered at the PURL), register for the event and share their reasons for donating and staying involved.

Becker Professional Review

In the past, Becker’s regional marketing networks had been allowed to create collateral on their own, resulting in the dilution of brand look and messaging across markets. Becker needed an online solution that would preserve brand consistency across all markets, but also give some flexibility to regional markets to customize sections of the collateral.

RT Solution: RT developed, and now manages, the Marketing Collateral Web site — an online collateral store. This site offers the regional marketing network many pre-printed collateral options as well as customizable promotional templates for use in their local marketing campaigns. It puts all of Becker’s print assets online, in one location, allowing regional marketing networks to order pre-printed materials or to easily build, customize and order targeted and personalized media that are within brand guidelines. This print-on-demand technology has also significantly reduced print costs and virtually eliminated storage, obsolescence and waste of marketing materials.
